Peer Review Week 2019: Thank you, reviewers!

To celebrate Peer Review Week 2019 we would like to recognise the efforts of every single person who provided a review for Journal of Ecology this year!

Peer Review Week (16-20 September 2019) is a global event celebrating the essential role that peer review plays in maintaining scientific excellence.

The theme for this year’s Peer Review Week is “Quality in Peer Review.” Journal of Ecology relies upon the commitment, expertise and judgement of its reviewers to maintain a high standard of research. The peer review process helps to ensure that the work that we publish is accurate, reliable and has been fully appraised by experts in that field.

We’d like to end the week by saying a huge thank you to everyone who has provided their feedback on a Journal of Ecology paper. We truly appreciate the time and effort that go into each & every one of your reviews!

Without the dedication of the people who voluntarily review papers for us, Journal of Ecology would not be the successful journal that it is today.

You can find the names of every person who reviewed for us in 2018, listed on our website. Thank you all!
